Staying on Track-Hit the Reset Button

This is a tough time of year for most of us.

The financial stress alone can destroy relationships, hurt egos and cause the body to breakdown more than you realize. Add to that family tensions, travel, shopping, dealing with that crazy driver in the parking lot who stole your spot and so much more. It’s super tough to stay focused on your work, your family, your health and your goals at this time of year. It’s easy to lash out at those closest to you and give up on the goals and dreams you’ve set for yourself.  Ironically, this is when those things are most important.

It’s never too late to take a second, refocus and hit the RESET button. We all have one buried somewhere in our brains. All it takes is a decision to hit it, renew your focus and keep moving forward. Maybe all it takes is simplifying your gift giving this year, burying the hatchet with that family member that disrespected you last year, setting a new financial goal or finally taking your partner out on that date night they’ve been craving for so long.

I challenge myself, and you to not wait until the new year to make these changes. Why not start right now? Like NOW. In one split second you can make a decision to change your attitude about whatever is troubling you and move forward with a renewed focus. Now is the time. Go for it! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

There. I did it. Felt good. Try it!
