Dreaming BIG!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of spending a few hours at a local business talking with hundreds of employees about their health, Chiropractic and their workplace stresses. It’s amazing to be able to answer questions for people that they just didn’t think they had answers for and most importantly, giving people hope.

Getting into the trenches isn’t for everyone, but it feels amazing to get out into the community and meet people face to face. Stress is an incredibly prominent problem throughout the year, but especially at Christmas. When stress hormones flood your body almost anything can happen. Increased blood pressure, lack of sleep, strange skin conditions, short tempers and much more are all the result of increased stress.

While getting adjusted is critical to keep your stress under control, there’s even more you can do. Eating healthy food, getting lots of exercise and getting plenty of rest are all absolutely imperative. Listen, these things sound great but aren’t always possible. Its a busy time of year and we can barely find time to get everything done let alone hit the road or gym but we still need to prioritize these things and FIND time for them. I know, easy for me to say, but I need to do it too.

The most important thing I realized yesterday was for some of the people I spoke to, just having that encouragement to learn more about themselves and their health was just the trigger they needed to dig deeper and motivate themselves to take the next step. It was an awesome day and I look forward to doing it again.
